Our Dara Beauty School is held once a month at the Dara Hub. Our NDIS Participants have fun and meet new people all whilst learning self-care routines, makeup tips and tricks. The Dara Beauty School fosters confidence, self-love and community. The Dara Beauty School books out quickly each month so to secure your spot email bookings@daradisabilityservices.com.au
The Dara beauty School is billed flexible from core funding or can be billed from capacity building funding.
In Home Support is part of your Core Supports.
You may be needing some extra help around the house so you can enjoy life to its fullest.
Our support workers can assist you at your home in the mornings, afternoons or evenings depending on how much support is required. You can utilise this support to help you with assistance with shopping, food preparation, cooking, or attending appointments. We have a whole range of supports that can be provided to meet your NDIS Goals.
We do our best to match the skills and personalities of the support staff with your needs and you so that you are comfortable and confident in your own home.
Transport Services is part of your Core Supports on your NDIS Plan.
Our transport services give you independence to attend services, activities, programs within in the community.
We offer assistance traveling to work, school, medical appointments, going shopping, running errands, or attending events as part of your social calendar.
All our Support Workers have full comprehensive insurance have had vehicle checks and a full driver's license to ensure you are as confident in their vehicle as they are.
Respite is there to support you to enjoy a break away for periods of time. It can give you the chance to meet new people.
What respite care looks like depends on your situation. It can be available for a few hours, a few days, or longer and provided in your home, the community or a destination of your choice.
The vision of providing a break away/holiday for people with disabilities was something the Dara team always wanted to do. The Dara Disability team believe that living life the way you want and enjoying experiences tailored to your disability whether it be physical, intellectual or psychosocial is how people become empowered and thrive.
Our respite options are both budget-friendly and can also cater to those looking to experience more lavishly experiences as well. We tailor the respite to you and your needs and wants.
Social and Community Participation will fall under Core Supports in your NDIS Plan.
We can provide social support on a daily or weekly basis to encourage you to engage with your community.
We can help you engage in activities that may include fishing, ten pin bowling, dancing, various sports or attending the footy, concerts and other events. We are available to assist you in connecting and building confidence in activities as we journey it with you.
Dara Day Options are run both in house and at our local community space location. We offer activities to suit individual client needs, interests and personal goals. You can choose anything from improving digital literacy and numeracy skills, creating art and pottery pieces, music, dance or keeping active with swimming or hiking! We will be offering a school holidays program as well for our NDIS School attending participants.
