At Dara Disability Services, we’re committed to supporting the unique personal care needs of our NDIS Participants. We provide our services with the upmost dignity and respect ensuring our clients feel heard, have choice and feel human in our approach. 

There is always something to do be done round the home. whether it be light domestic duties, meal preparation, or life admin. Our Support Workers and Mentors assist our clients to build capacity in the home to create a space they not only live in but a space the enjoy being in. Sometimes clutter can get in the way, admin gets out of control, let our Support Workers assist you to re-organise, de-clutter, tidy or cook!

Our Cleaners are some of the best, they're not afraid of hard work and don't mind getting their hands dirty if it means your space is clean, safe and hygienic for our clients. Our Cleaners are reliable, consistent and actually enjoy what they do. It takes a certain type of person to enjoy some dusting, scrubbing and mopping, and we found them. We have a team of cleaners so you'll have options on who you prefer and there is always backups if someone is unwell or life happens. 

We have our friendly and hard working Gardener Ken who services the North/Northeast of Adelaide and Joel our 2nd Gardener who services the Western and Southern suburbs of Adelaide. Work ethic, and perfectionism is what these guys are all about. If you have overgrown lawn, some weeds that seem to be reaching you from the outside, reach out to us about Ken and Joels capacity. 

Our team of Support Workers & Mentors has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of getting out and about and having fun! We are dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest events and developments in the community to provide our clients with the best possible experiences. No one should ever feel isolated and connection and community is at the heart of everything we do. 

Full Day Supports at either 1:1 or group support ratios. Our dedicated team have created a safe and accessible space for our NDIS clients where they can meet new people, engage in activities at their pace and feel like they belong within our community. From 9:30am to 4:00pm weekdays. 

The Dara Social Hub is our dedicated Arts and Crafts space. The Dara Social Hub runs Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 1:30pm. We can provide transport to and from the hub if required also. Each week there is a new activity to do or you can have a choice of any art or craft activity you choose, we have plenty to pick from. Each activity is supported by a hub mentor who can assist you to get creative, make friends and join in when you feel comfortable. 

You can feel safe in knowing our staff are highly trained in manual handling techniques using lifters, hoist's and sara steady's. Our Support Workers offer supports such as bowel care, peg feeding, catheter care and medication management. We do annual refresher training on all areas of support and take pride in the standard of dignified care our team offers.

Sometimes you just need some time away to recoup, refresh and give your carers some well needed breaks too. We organise your respite from start to finish, we assist in booking accommodation, organising activities and supports to ensure your time away is not a worry for you or your family.
